Plenty more to come, but I’m sure you can agree these are absolutely outstanding! The artists have displayed an incredible level of ability and attention to detail to create some truly wonderful self portraits. We have loved colour mixing, colour matching and looking at different ways to shade the skin to show contours or edges.

Now on to the good stuff – moving on to self portraits on canvas, using acrylics. I’m sure you will agree the results are outstanding, but we are still not finished! More to come soon!

The end of the Autumn term! A very arty bunch of children and lots to look forward to in 2022!

Our second project is now coming to an end. We have had a brilliant time with our watercolour Zentangles, being pleasantly surprised with how the paint reacts with the water to bleed and blend the colours before our eyes.
